Sacred Ceremony
Awaken, evolve, and connect with the Divine
About our prayer ceremonies
Sacramental prayer ceremonies can help spiritual seekers to awaken, evolve and come into a deeper connection with themselves, with others, and with All of Life.
This deep form of prayer invites us into a kind of liminal space that indigenous people call “the Dreamtime,” where we can quiet the mind, open our hearts and commune with the Sacred Divine.
Ceremony helps us to shift consciousness from fear to love, from factions to wholeness, from separation to unity.
This transformative form of prayer can help people to have not just a momentary shift in consciousness – but to develop the long-term capacity and courage to act on that awareness, in ways that generate positive change for all of Life.
The sacraments open us to an expanded, non-ordinary consciousness and allow us to:
directly engage the Great Mystery
experience inner divinity and unity consciousness
break free from limiting beliefs and psycho-spiritual blocks
turn pain into blessing
The container
Reverent and careful attention to “set and setting” is the key to a potent and beneficial experience. We work in the context of a ceremonial group prayer, within a safe and potent energetic container.
Our facilitation weaves together decades of experience and training in ritual leadership, indigenous spiritual practices, human development, depth psychology, shadow-work, trauma healing, polarity thinking, energy work and relational facilitation.
The sacramental ceremony experience includes:
online preparation and screening
a multi-day retreat experience
prayer ceremony facilitated by two trained and experienced guides
follow-up integration
“This is what must be developed: the art of giving out in love and intelligence that which is received from vision and self-transcendence.”
— Aldous Huxley, Author , A Brave New World

Blessing the World
The experience of sacramental prayer ceremony is only as valuable as the ongoing practice of integrating what is received into one’s life for the purposes of Sacred Union, both individually and at the collective level. While the personal experience can be potent, all individual experiences are meant to bless one’s relationships, family, community, and the world.

Who it's for
We welcome spiritual leaders and spiritually oriented change-leaders leaders who respect and appreciate the power of sacraments as a catalyst for direct communion with the Divine, and who desire to pray with us in a holistic, ceremonial way.

Safe and sincere prayer
The Sanctuary for Sacred Union is incorporated as a non-profit church in the state of Colorado. We are recognized as operating in good standing since 2020. Our ceremonies are considered to be “safe and sincere prayer” and as such, they are legal under Colorado law and protected at the federal level by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
